I started creating websites as a hobby more than fifteen years ago, and I have been doing commercial sites for the past decade. All of the prices are based on the amount of work that is involved in creating, updating, and maintaining the site. The amount of customization is the key factor in estimating the price of these sites. If you want to add four or five pages, customize the appearance significantly, and keep the site regularly maintained, the price would necessarily increase. The reason is simple: more work equals more cost.
